Infinite Brass and Infinite Woodwinds take on Karajan’s 1965 recording of the famous swan theme from Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake ballet.
The trombone section is amped up by a contrabass trombone and two cimbassi. Main mics are accompanied by Close mics a notch below, and Ambient mics two notches below. The “Studio” version uses more Close mics. There’s only a soft compressor and a touch of tape saturation on the master.
